Having bareboat chartered sailboats through a variety of the main charter companies in the Carribean for a span of 30 years, we - for the first time - chartered through Horizon Yacht Charters, in January of 2026. We selected a 50' catamaran which had 3 years of chartering with Horizon Yachts. With a family group of 13 on-board, we were thrilled with the entire experience. No surprises, no hassles, easy checkin/checkout and immaculate yacht. With 13 people and 6 heads, a person must be amazed at the flawless week of shear reliability of equipment of this complexity and size. Thank you, Horizon, for the entire experience.

6-13—>6-20-2025 we chartered rhythm and blues a 2024 Jeanneau 440 with a skipper/instructor. Completed ASA 103 and had a great time. Martin our skipper had 40 + years of experience and didn’t make us reef the sails, so we had a blast. Boat was clean and well stocked. Nothing broke everything was in great condition.
We met Andrew and others in Annapolis and just felt like we discovered a quality, straight shooter, and cheaper charter company. They also have new boats just like the other big name
charter companies.
Only complaint is Horizon should have a bag of ice on boat for late arrivals. We couldn’t get any ice after 8pm at the dock. Probably my favorite vacation.
Just some other fun facts 1. Indians was our favorite snorkel spot. 2. We ran the generator 10-12 hours every night for a/c, only used the big motor for mooring, we only used 31 gallons of diesel for 7 nights.

Our family just concluded our first charter and Horizon provided an excellent experience. Being new to the process, Abbie and team provided impeccable customer service and were so helpful in answering my questions. Our boat was in excellent condition and our captain Bethany was knowledgeable and fun. She recommended a great itinerary, was flexible with our requests, and had excellent restaurant recommendations.
We loved our experience and I would highly recommend Horizon Yacht Charters to anyone looking for their next charter.

This was a great experience as captain of bareboat catamaran cruise. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got lots of good tips about the boat and our planned trip. The boat was clean and spacious and comfortable for 8 people. I called back a few times for some minor issues. Terry was helpful and prompt. All of the crew had a fantastic trip and look forward to further adventures. I would definitely book with Horizon again.

Not my favorite charter company. Poor communication prior to the trip and no follow-up after. Hired skipper was a good sailor, but we were experienced and there to sail; having him do everything detracted from the enjoyment. Also skipper was not a very good communicator; getting the plan for the day was always a challenge. Boat itself was not as good as other cruisers I have chartered. Poorly designed with small rooms and bunks (like sleeping in a coffin was the assessment of 1 person on the trip). Very little storage space for clothes, bags and even food. Would definitely not use this company again.
