Had a wonderful 10 day sailing trip aboard a well-equipped and sturdy Island Packet 440. Great vessel! This is our second charter with IYC - although hubby and his dad also chartered with them in the 1980s. Andrea and Skip were extremely thorough in going over all the vessel systems and charts and gave us lots of information and tips for the cruising areas and anchorages/moorings. They even valet the boat out of and back into the dock. Super helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They have been in business for many decades and truly take care of their clients. Can’t wait to come back.

Chartered for a couple weeks in 2020. IP 440 Jemma Joy was in great condition for her age and kept us feeling very safe for our 300+ nm trip. Chip and Andrea were very accommodating and helpful. Much simpler than trying to get to Tortola to start a VI sailing trip.

Just returned from a ten day charter on one of IYC's Island Packet 460s. The boat was immaculate. Our boat had been in charter for 5 years and it looked new. We had a slight delay getting off while a repair was completed to the windlass for a problem discovered during a very detailed walk through of the equipment and rig. The cutter rig included a mast-furling main, and furling on both staysail and genoa. The galley was well equiped and the 460's water tank gave the four of us plenty for short showers and all other needs. We added an overnight at the owner's rental villa at the end to get our land legs back. This is a sailor's charter company.
