The yachts are well maintained, clean and well equipped with focus on all the major brands. Highlights include the latest electronics, water makers, and a variety of layouts. People make all the difference and the VIYC staff is exceptional - the departure briefing was prompt and informative, attentive support during our sail was a phone call away, complementary sail away & docking after the sail is a huge convenience. We have owned several yachts, & racked up 8 charters with our family from the Bahamas to French Polynesia - VIYC is the best in the business for Cats in the Virgin Islands.

My husband and I just returned from a 7-day catamaran trip with VIYC Charters aboard Dock Holiday, and it was truly one of the best vacations we’ve ever had!
Our itinerary took us through the stunning USVI and BVI—St. John, Virgin Gorda, Norman’s Island, Scrub Island, and Anegada. Every stop was breathtaking, but snorkeling at Horseshoe Reef was absolutely next-level—like being dropped into a living aquarium. We even had fresh conch ceviche right after snorkeling!
The real magic, though, came from our amazing crew, Capt. Jason Mead and Jason MacKay. They made our first sailing trip feel like a dream come true. Jason Mackay is a phenomenal chef—every meal was beyond delicious: ahi tuna, lamb, shrimp, and so many more unforgettable dishes. The food alone could have been the highlight!
The Jasons were professional, fun, and made us feel so comfortable, even in the close quarters of a catamaran. We hit all the must-see spots plus a few hidden gems we never would’ve discovered on our own. The boat itself, Dock Holiday, was beautiful and in excellent condition—clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a week of island-hopping.

Chartered Tikka a Bali 4.6 from VIYC for 9 nights earlier this month. The boat was in great condition and the staff at the marina did an excellent job. We have chartered 11 times over the last 9 years and this was one of our best experiences. This was our second time with VIYC and both were great charters.

Excellent repeat experience. We have chartered twice with VIYC. Both have been great. We had one boat/systems issue this time, a water-pressure-related cutoff with the salon ac units, and the team had the pump swapped out within 30 minutes before we left the dock. Overall, the team is good/fun to work with and the base crew are nice, knowledgeable/skilled and appear to genuinely care about the maintenance of the boats and making sure we have the best cruise possible. Good launch point west to Culebra/SVI or east to STJ...and had no issues taking boat to BVIs. Definitely recommend.
