This was the best holiday of my life. Virgin Charter Yachts' team have been helpful for many years as I have investigated, planned and considered a bareboat motor yacht charter. Finally we decided to bite the bullet and have a go. From start to finish the team bent over backwards to be helpful. No question was too silly, no request too much. Shonda was a delight, helping us with the briefing and handover. Her manoeuvring skills in close quarters were unparalleled, but her relaxed style allowed us to build confidence, knowing she was highly skilled, professional and adept whilst also calm, confidence instilling and helpful. Our yacht was incredible and everything functioned perfectly. Every small glitch we faced was promptly resolved. Once again, a huge thank you! We can't wait to save our pennies and come back.

Virgin took such good care of us on our girls trip to the BVI. Our boat was very clean and we had the best Captain, Shemar, who was very kind and accommodating. At all times I felt safe and relaxed. Doing a charter through Virgin is something I would recommend to anyone who is looking to explore the islands!

Just returned from our 2nd year in a row charter with VCY and we were just as impressed as last year. Our chartered yacht “Don’t Blink” was a phenomenal layout for cruising the BVI, and VCY’s service made the entire process easy and enjoyable. I always expect to have a few minor boat issues, but they were handled quickly and effectively by their operations and customer service teams. I would not consider any charter yacht company other than VCY in the future.

If you are looking for a GREAT bareboat charter experience in BVI look no further than Virgin Charter Yachts! This family owned and operated business cares for all your needs as if you were family. For our group of 9 they suggested one of their newest Aventura Power Cats, ‘Unwinding.’ It has an amazing 6 cabins each one with its own head. My wife and I stayed in one of the stern cabins, a bit smaller than the 4 main cabins, but we had plenty of room for our weeks’ worth of stuff. With the help of the VCY staff – they are without exception wonderful—we were able to book a tour of Necker Island through BVI Snuba. Our tour guide was Vaman, the Wildlife & Conservation Director at Necker. If you can include this tour in your plans by all means DO IT. You are unlikely to experience anything like it anywhere in the world. As a bonus, if you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the owner of Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson –an amazing bonus for us on our tour! On the tour you will learn all about his work protecting endangered species. Finally, although 4 of our group qualified as ‘Captains’ per VCY’s requirements, we elected to use one of VCY’s captains, Lefty. It was absolutely the BEST decision we made. With Captain Lefty in charge we could all relax and have no worries or stress. Captain Lefty was happy to have our help if we wanted to help but otherwise he took care of everything. Believe me, the cost of a Captain is money well spent. There is absolutely no question our next BVI trip will be with VCY!

We had a great experience with Virgin Charter Yachts for our first BVI Bareboat Charter. Right from the initial planning, the team was very helpful, communicative and made our experience A-plus. Anything that popped up was quickly addressed and we felt supported by customer service department. We are already planning our next trip!
