We spent two fantastic weeks sailing in the British Virgin Islands on a Lagoon 50 with Navigare Yachting. The boat was in great condition and perfect for cruising between the islands.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the check-in was smooth, and everything was well organized. The BVI is an amazing sailing area with short distances, beautiful anchorages and crystal-clear water.

Just left a weeklong charter around the BVI. Our skipper Natalia was an absolute dream: accommodating, skilled, and helpful.

Relaxing and restful
Cons:
Our cabin smelled like a chem toilet
One washcloth for two people for a week
One beach towel for two people
No toiletries provided
Overall, a great trip.

This past October, my friends and I did a week-long catamaran trip in the BVI, and without a doubt, it has been one of my most incredible travel experiences to date. Even though I had already visited the BVI before, traveling around on a catamaran brings the experience to a whole new level since you can go to various islands as you please.
From the booking process to the boarding prep, to the experience on board, everything was smooth and seamless.
Since we didn't have navigating experience, we hired a skipper (Shaka) and a chef (Abby). Both Shaka and Abby were extraordinary the entire week. Shaka took all of your "must-visit" places and suggestions to help build the ideal itinerary and recommended a few more that were worth the addition!
Throughout the week Shaka was an outstanding and entertaining skipper. He helped us fish and even taught us how to help with mooring and other basic tasks on board. We enjoyed that.
Abby, on the other hand, made magic in that kitchen. All of her meals were delicious and to be honest, even better than the meals we had on shore. She helped us build a comprehensive half-board menu and took care of all the provisioning. Her help with this made our experience so much smoother.
Lastly, our boat, Island Nomad, felt like a small apartment at sea. It was comfortable, clean, state-of-the-art tech, and a wonderful space where all seven of us felt comfortable spending a week together. It had enough space for us to chill, read, lounge, and hang out without bothering one another.
This was my first experience with Navigare, but it won't be the last. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We had an amazing trip. Everyone at Navigar was great to deal with and No surprises!!! We rented a 2023 Bali 5.4. Shaka our Captian, was better than we could have ever imagined. Ive been sailing 40’+ sailboats for many years. Shaka made everyone on the boat feel comfortable and safe the entire trip. I highly recommend him if you want to get a captian. We spent 8 days and could have done 2 or 3 more day if we had the time. It was really one of the best trips of our lives.

A review of our skipper (Brad) and Navigare generally. Brad is a fantastic, admirable, confident skipper. He’s personable with a relaxing vibe that easily fit in to our group. He’s a hard worker with deep expertise of the area - always suggesting cool stops and getting us the best location each night. We loved how he gave us some control with deciding when to sail, where to make pit stops, etc. Importantly, he always worked safely and responsibly - looking out for us at all times. If we went back to the BVI, we’d want Brad at the helm.
The ship was in great shape and was very comfortable for our one week trip. Reliable power and strong A/C. I was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the kitchen was - we made many meals there. I was also impressed by the amount of linens each person got. The Navigare staff were all quite friendly and did a great job welcoming us. Would certainly rent again!
