Last updated August 21, 2026. This policy covers rentouryachts.com, operated by David A. Little, Inc..
We run a business directory. We collect what you type into our forms so we can reply to you, plus the ordinary technical information any website receives. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask us to delete your data and we will.
We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13, and this site is not directed at them.
To answer you, to publish and correct business listings, to keep the site working and secure, to take payment for paid listings and adverts, and to understand which parts of the site people actually use. We do not use your information for anything you would not expect from the form you filled in.
We do not sell your personal information. We do share it with the services we use to run the site:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Most records on this site are business listings compiled from publicly available sources — business name, business address, business phone, website and category. That is company contact information, not private personal data, and it is why a business can appear here without having contacted us.
If a listing is yours and you want it corrected or taken down, ask through the privacy request form and we will do it. We do not charge for removal.
We operate from the United States, and the services listed above are US-based, so anything you send us is stored in the United States. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, that is a transfer outside your country; we rely on your consent and on our contracts with those providers.
Form submissions and the conversations that follow are kept while your enquiry or listing is active, and for up to two years afterwards. Server logs roll over within about 90 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, normally seven years.
Whoever and wherever you are, you may ask us to:
To make any of these requests, use our privacy request form, or email hello@rentouryachts.com. We verify that the request is really from you, then act on it within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep something. Every marketing email we send also carries an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the GDPR gives you these rights and you may also complain to your national data protection authority. We rely on your consent where you gave it, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in running a directory and replying to enquiries.
If you are in California, you may request access or deletion as above. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA, and you will not be treated differently for asking.
What deletion actually does. We remove your record from this site's database, which also ends any email or text messages to you. We email you to confirm when it is done. We keep a note that the request was made and honoured, because we have to be able to show that we acted on it.
The site sets the small number of cookies needed to work. Our analytics also sets a cookie that tells repeat visits apart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
The site is served over HTTPS and access to submitted data is limited to people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
